Mayo clinic diet was created by the Mayo Clinic and its staff members. It is often referred to as the Mayo clinic diet plan and was created to counter the popularity of the fad diet named “Mayo Clinic Diet”. The Mayo Clinic diet was first published in a book called “The Mayo Clinic Diet” and it encourages dieters to eating foods outlined in a healthy weight food pyramid. Portion sizes are also explained in the pyramid.
